The Quilt for Linzi and Jimmy is Finished

Thanks for voting! It was so much fun to make this quilt especially since it was made for two people that I LOVE! I think it turned out rather nice. I did a bias binding that was hand-finished and I was able to do a random stippling design to quilt it together. I hope they like it!!

First of all, love the quilt. Do you use a quilting frame, or do you just lay it out. And a question about your blog. I recently re-designed mine. I used that same website as you. How did you get the embeleshments on your header? Did you put them into the html code? i agree with the previous comment... i wish you lived closer to give me lessons too!

Jessica and Lisa, I wish I lived closer to you, too!! About the quilt: I didn't use a frame. I have a special sewing machine foot called a BSR(It's pricey and you can only buy it if you have a certain machine.) It sews when I move fabric and stops when I don't. I can move it in any direction. It takes while to get used to but it is fun. The secret to getting a nice quilted quilt with out a frame is by pinning REALLY WELL. As for the header. Chris did it. He made it in Photoshop and then inserted it in the blog and then changed the HTML code to make it fit. I hope that helps. Jess, will I see you at the wedding?

Okay, i am an amateur quilter compared to you... Did you machine or hand quilt that after you pieced it? I have yet to machine quilt anything 'cause i don't know how. Your quilt is super cute and I love it! GOOD JOB STEPH!
